It was an underdog kind of day in the season opener and Barry and the Commish were pretty sure it was gonna happen. Somewhere Nora is smiling.

Sad days for our football community, as our long-time friend and pool participant, Noralee C, passed away last week after a long series of illnesses. Nora's husband, and founder of our football pool, Barry C, will continue her legacy in the pool and hopes her memory will provide some inspiration and some smiles as he picks a few longshots for her. We will miss her feisty spirit and her love of rooting for the underdogs. Rest in peace, Nora.
